An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join Little Gems Montessori Nursery in our Larnaca setting, Cyprus. You will work in a 3–6-year-old classroom alongside Montessori pedagogues and become part of a dedicated and highly professional team.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Applicants should hold one of the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Early Years Education

• An Early Years degree

• A Prodimodiki qualification

• A Psychology degree

 

This role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development, including the potential to progress to a Montessori Lead Teacher position. Training in Montessori philosophy and practice can be provided.​​

​

You will:​​

• Scaffold each child's individual curriculum

• Observe children to determine where you can help them to grow

• Make detailed observations, next steps and plans for each child in order to meet their individual growth

• Role-model the behaviour and culture you wish the children to embody

• Work together with other teachers in the environment and school

• Help deliver in-house training with and for your co-teachers

• Maintain a strong bond between family, school and child​

• Can contribute to planning and assessment

• Is willing to attend ongoing professional development and training opportunities

• Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and caring approach

• Can start in September 2026
